    Although I HATE what Disney has become, I will grudingly watch it to see something like that :slight_smile:

    I'm a little scared. My 12 yr old sister watches this show and will probably see this. I'm not out to her, and we have never broached the gay subject with her. I probably give her a lot less credit than she's due, but I feel uncomfortable with her watching this episode. To be honest, I'm not sure if she even knows gay people exist.

    Step in the right direction, that's for sure. My sisters watch that show all the time so I can only hope it's a fair depiction. Considering Disney's also got the Fosters, I'm still holding out for them to do a gay Disney movie. :wink:

    Come on, Disney, you can do it! Two princes, come on!

    That's great. I would say I kind of would like to see a gay teen couple though or something...nothing against same-sex parents, amazing of course, but I feel it won't hit teens enough but perhaps same time having a teen couple would be no different than them saying "ewwww boys kissing" compared to "oh gay parents?". I don't know...not sure what to think.

    She's 12. I'm sure she knows gay people exist.

    I think it was probably just because it's easier to write in gay parents.

    That's great. I'm hoping that television targeted towards the Gen Z demographic becomes much more versatile and diverse regarding GSMs within the next few years.

    I haven't heard of this show, though my nieces don't watch Disney sitcoms yet (they're both preschool age), but it'll be nice that their generation will likely grow up with more of an open culture and they'll be exposed to minorities in media.

    I agree as well, but hopefully it's kind of the step that "breaks the boundary" and Disney will be less reluctant to do it in the future as well. Eho knows, maybe there will be two disney prince/esses in the next film
