Our founding fathers also said that "all men are created equal". By all men, it means you cannot discriminate against LGBT individuals and make us second class citizens, which is what he wants.

I won't eat there, nope, no way. Besides, it's pretty much a rip off. Buy a few chicken breasts, cut them up, bread and fry them, and you have 10 times the amount.

^And can probably make it tastier and healthier in the process. =)

Don't know why he felt the urge to tweet, though. Conservatives may love it, but it certainly isn't making me want to ever eat there again. Sure, he has the right to say what he wants, but if he didn't speak his mind, there wouldn't be this article.

chicken beak might be too big for his butthole.
also maybe too small to be enjoyable.

something like Fearow's beak might be long enough

Whenever I hear about Chick-fil-A, all I can think about is that song that Detox, Willam and Vicky made about it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Yes, they did.

Because they realized the increased income from the people against same-sex marriage/etc. was not making up for the lost income from the people who support it.

But I still will never eat something from there, that's just more money to people like him.

The tweet doesn't shock me. Messages like that are exactly why I don't eat there.

Most people don't realize just how many of our founding fathers were Deists. I'm not sure how many people even know what Deism is

Dan Cathy is the worst kind of homophobic bigot, and is just constitutionally incapable of keeping his mouth shut. I'm pretty certain the rest of the Chik-Fil-A management, and certainly the franchisees, would love it if he would just STFU but he's one of those who's incapable of not spreading his bigotry.

It's sad that a person homophobic like this has any kind of power...

"To bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance." -George Washington.
What was that Mr. Cathy? The founding fathers would be ashamed of NOT using biblical text to deny people rights? That's funny. Considering how many of them weren't big fans of religion in the first place.

He doesn't really have any power. He just thinks he does.

Yes, thank you! Our forefathers were Deists and Free Masons, not Christians.

Anyway, America is changing. He can't stop it. He needs to keep his damn mouth shut and let it happen because he's not going to change anything by airing his ignorant opinions on the internet. :tantrum:

I think he's still making donations to anti-gay causes, the last I heard, though not being as vocal about it, or doing it more indirectly...I'll have to look into this, but I recall seeing a piece on Salon, where he was still in fact channeling $$$ to these groups.

I feel bad because I love their chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Plus, they have those cool ketchup packets

And we have one on campus. Ugh, my stomach craves Chick-fil-a.
