I've been trying to get this GIF to work in my avatar, seeing a lot of them around. It always sticks as a picture, and it never goes through the entire GIF. Is there a different way you have to place a GIF as your avatar?

I think it has to be small enough (file size) for it to work. Perhaps check that? I honestly haven't changed mine enough but I know it works when I do use this one. Also ensure it is a GIF format.

The GIF is in the correct format, and since it uploads to be my avatar it shouldn't really be the wrong size, right? Or could there be something wrong with the file I am uploading?

I've had images too large before (not .gifs though) and the system just resizes it to fit the "requirements". It's possible the system doesn't know how to resize multiple frames in a .gif...?

    I dunno, really. :/

In my experience, it will work if the .gif is a small enough resolution as well as file size. I've uploaded ones that were larger and it just came out as a stationary picture...

    BornInTexas, you could try that.
