how do i put a youtube video on a thread ._.?

    to the staff this isn't that urgent, is just that i tried and i couldn't show the video... the link works and all but i guess it would be easy if the video showed up in the post, what did i do wrong? T_T

    <youtube>combination of numbers and letters at the end of the url<youtube>, with <> replaced with square brackets.

    eg [youtube] owGykVbfgUE [/youtube]

    [youtube]owGykVbfgUE[/youtube]

    You take the part of the URL that's after the equal sign and put it in [YOUTUBE][/YOUTUBE].

    So for example, if the URL was "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ-VT50SgUo"
    I would want to take the "DZ-VT50SgUo" and put it in the middle of the youtube things such as [YOUTUBE]"DZ-VT50SgUo"[/YOUTUBE] (only without the quotation marks)

    [YOUTUBE]DZ-VT50SgUo[/YOUTUBE]

    You can also uncheck the "Automatically parse links in text" option when editing the post, and then just use the full link. When you do that, this:

    [YOUTUBE ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GyhFsJoiYc[/YOUTUBE ]

    Without the spaces, becomes this

    [YOUTUBE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GyhFsJoiYc[/YOUTUBE]
