I started my Album with one pic and it was approved. I posted 24 pics on Friday or Saturday and my pics were not getting approved. Now my album is gone. Can you get it back? It was a lot of work because I put descriptions in all pics. Some real long.
Hi there! What kind of pics did you try to upload? In reviewing the pictures, staff will check as to whether they contain copyrighted content. If the pics contained it, they would not have been approved, as explained in EC's Code of Conduct.
Give us a day or two to see if there was a technical glitch and find out what happened. We'll let you know either way.
I would still like to know what happened. But I am über impatient, so I remade the album. About how long for it to be approved? And will I have to ask every time or does it take longer on weekends for pics to be approved.
Hi, Your album was removed because it contained copyrighted images. The purpose of the gallery system is for member's to share pictures of themselves or photos that they have taken that fall under our Code of Conduct. As our server space is donated to us, we don't allow people to use the Gallery system as a place to host a whole range of generic pictures that a member likes as it just takes up unnecessary space and risks abusing the donation of space that allows EC to operate with minimal costs. We do aim to contact members whenever a picture or album is removed, but this can sometimes be difficult to do due to the sheer quantity of items we get on a daily basis that require reviewing, so mistakes can and do happen.
