When I go to the chat room, it loads and then says that my password or user name is incorrect when I'm logged on in the forum already and when I type my user name and password in, it says it is wrong... Does that make any sense? What do I do?
It's there to stop regular members from gaining access to the chat room due to recent changes. Only Full Members have the ability to enter the chat room. I'm not sure if the error message can be changed to make it explain why you can't currently access it, but at the moment it's due to your account settings. If you want to become a Full Member then fill out the short application form and submit it. I have just changed a couple of settings. You should now get a message like this which I think explains it OK...

Related problem: My username doesn't seem to fit in the login box anymore, thus preventing me form logging in. ??? A little confused here.
Well, if you are logged in to EC, just going to chat via the tab at the top of the page should work, because it usually doesn't make you log in again. But if you are logged in and going via the tab, and it still won't work, there may be a bigger problem. But possibly Paul could give a better explanation.
