I was messaging one of my friends and I noticed that when he replied the sent time on his message was 10 minutes from now...

I'm in England and it's quarter to five here. I checked to make sure the time setting was for London and it was.

Then just now I looked at my last action time on my profile and it said 6:00 which is 1 and a quarter hours from now...

At the bottom it says my GMT is GMT+1, but I'm on the central time which is London. Should I just change it to whatever GMT-1 is?

The US set clocks forward an hour on Sunday the 9th, for Daylight Savings.
Because you're in the UK and you don't go to BST for a few more months, you'll need to manually adjust your forum time.

How do I do that? Do I go to the options settings and change the GMT time? Because I've tried that and it didn't work. And it's not only an hour forward, but also 15 minutes: here it's 17:14 on EC it's 6:29.

If that's not what you meant, then how do I do it?

Oo, I see. I'm having the same issue with the 15 minutes.
To get the hours to be correct, go to My Settings > Edit Options > Scroll to the Date and Time section > Change it to GMT +1.

I believe GMT +1 should set you in the right hour (You're on GMT right now, I believe).

The issue of it being ~15 minutes off is something that vBulletin will have to handle, which means the Administrators will need to contact them. When vBulletin updates their servers, the time sometimes doesn't get reset.

Note: When you switch to BST on March 30, you will need to change this back.
I think because EC is an American website, the timezone changes will default with America's, and not the rest of the world's.

I'm seeing this too. A few posts were at 4:30 PM Eastern Time today, when as I'm writing this, it's 4:20 PM. The times are off.

It would appear that the time server that our web server is linked to must be having an issue. I'll look into it.
