A real photo is ok, correct?

    I know that no personally identifiable information is allowed to be posted publicy on ec (however I might check while I'm at it, if we attain full membership, we would be permitted to exchange such information with another member - via a PM - if we chose to, correct?)

    But just to make absolutely sure: a real photo of oneself is permitted, both as an avatar and as a profile pic...correct?

    You can use a real picture of you as a profile picture, avatar picture and you can upload a picture(s) of you to an album.

    A real photo is okay, I use real photos of myself, so do many others.

    Yep, using a real photo as an avatar and profile pic is allowed :slight_smile: you can exchange contact info via PM once you are granted by that privilege. We just warn people to be careful who they give their info to.
