    I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. Other full members can send you private messages, but that would be the only way for another member to communicate privately with you.

    In Chit Chat, there is no anonymous feature, as the anonymous feature is designed to be used when you need support, but do not wish to attach your name to it. If you wish to be anonymous on a support related concern, you can post anonymously in one of the below forums (remember that admins can always see who posted anonymously, but it is rarely looked up unless there is a concern about a post):

    Anonymous Discussion (for support related items that don't fit elsewhere)
    Anonymous Physical and Sexual Health
    Anonymous Sexual and Romantic Orientation
    Anonymous Gender Identity and Expression

    These are the only places on the forum that anonymous postings are permitted. Also, these are mirrored into their respective non-anonymous forum counterparts.
