For some reason that I do not know, this site is very laggy for me. :frowning2: Whenever I try to do something in this site I have to wait for about 5 seconds until the page is fully loaded. I'm currently residing in South Korea, and I'm wondering whether that has something to do with this issue. Is there a fix for this issue?

    Is it just this site?
Or are you finding the same with other forums?

Just this site. This has never happened to me before with any other forums.

Thanks for you help. I really appreciate it. But it seems like this 5 seconds delay is one very lonely issue and thus doesn't want to leave my company quite easily. I think I'll have to stick around with him for much longer than I expected... :frowning2:

    Ok...
do you have any content filter on your computer ? Like filtering adult content ?

Do you have another alternative safe browser to test the webpage ?

    Ok then...
there are tools like Netstat live which allow you to measure real connection parameters...

lets be blunt... there might be the possibility that isp providers in your location delay... how you deal with that is up to you...

another possibility might be, as told, filtering software on your computer...

as usual all at your own risk...

    Trace - 66.115.186.127

See if latency is consistent and normal - eg, mine is ~20ms.

    Test stuff...

    Run>CMD - ping 66.115.186.127 -t -n 100 -l 10000

You should be getting anywhere between 100 to 200ms latency.

Try this using a different "provider", like, hijack a signal from your neighbor or something to see if the problem persists.

Also, this will be random, but... Have you disabled IPv6? If you are using Win8 that can be somewhat problematic due to... reasons.

Ping does not work. The server responding is different from the http content on EC.

    You sure? 【・_・?】

I'm so clueless about this... Where does one do all his "pinging" then? (*≧▽≦)ノシ))

Try yourself... enter the ip adress you received for pinging into your browser.

If you have multiple web adresses, for example, its possible to reroute to another server. Ping is not rerouted.
