Hello. I haven't been around like I was earlier in the year. I was just wondering if accounts are ever deleted when they aren't logged into after a while? I want to keep my account active and I'm paranoid that it's going to disappear one day if I'm gone too long.
Had the very same question! Glad that they won't be! I keep on checking every few days or so because I was worried about that too.... wondering if merely logging in was enough.
Actually the admin team is reconsidering that policy as we speak. At the present time the above policy is correct, however, as EC grows, we are considering allowing usernames that have had less than some number of posts, that have not had activity in a very long time (2-3 years) to be reused. The present thought is we would probably not actually delete the account (unless, for example, it had only a couple of posts), but more likely change the username so that another user can have it. The policy is still under consideration, but that's the direction we are leaning in at the moment.
