Thats also a good idea ^ the closest thing there is is to subscribe to your own post but even then you still have to go check which is a slight bummer >.<.
I've been thinking this for a while, 3 other forums I'm on are VBulletin too and have that option. Although I'm pretty sure EC is running an old version of VB as I've not seen it like this since ~2011/12
Hey, It has been on the cards for a while, and we're aware that some vBulletin mods do allow for this feature to exist. The kicker is that those mods, from what I have seen, haven't integrated into usergroup permissions, so it would fundamentally undermine the anonymity of our post reporting system. As a post report automatically generates under the user ID of the reporter, containing a quote of the reported content, this would cause a quote 'notification' to flag up, essentially exposing you as reporting that member. It's on the list of things that we're looking into as part of the migration, so we're hopeful that we'll be able to have something like this which is integrated into the access permissions of usergroups. Unfortunately, we can't implement such a feature until we can be certain that it will only provide quote notifications in forums that the member is able to access. It shouldn't be impossible, but it may require custom-coding. I'm not going to be 100% sure until I reach that stage of the migration process. Martin.
