    Dear members,

    Over the last number of years, Empty Closets has seen a tremendous growth in its membership and to ensure our continued ability to meet the needs of the community, the Administrators have started to implement changes that will help to facilitate the continued growth and enable us to introduce new services in the near to medium term.

    As many of you know, we have been working on moving Empty Closets on a new discussion platform, which is coming this summer. Coinciding with this change we have started to re-organise the staff team to provide services and support more efficiently and set the stage for new upcoming volunteer opportunities that will help in facilitating the growth of the community and ensure its long term success.

    We are pleased to announce that our current Administrative Assistants, BradTheCat and Jonathan, have agreed to take on the new roles of Community Facilitators. Both will be joined by Gallatin, Greatwhale, and TJ who have also agreed to join the roles of Community Facilitators. The Community Facilitators will help the Administrators in overseeing the Online Community Support Team and additional volunteer roles, thus helping to move things forward.

    Please join the entire staff team in congratulating BradTheCat, Gallatin, Greatwhale, Jonathan and TJ on their new roles.

    We're upgrading to a much more modern, more user-friendly, more mod-friendly, and all around better forum platform. We currently use an old and (almost) unsupported version of vBulletin. We'll be upgrading to a new platform this summer.

    Not a new site, just a new software. :slight_smile: It'll change the look and functionality of the site a bit.
