If that's not the case, I'm going to be embarrassed. :icon_redf

I've heard a lot of forums like this (not because it's LGBT, but because it's a chatting wander forum without a plan in mind) are/turn into dating sites. I've been looking through the forums for a while and it doesn't seem like a dating site, though. I think would be pretty uncomfortable if somebody tried to hit on me.

    Hey,

No, this is a support site for LGBT people coming out or already out of the closet (and parents of LGBT people, we have a section for that too  ).

Check the Code of Conduct for details Empty Closets - Code of Conduct

Hi there! Empty Closets is not a dating site nor is it to be used as such.

Empty Closets is an online resource, and a non-profit organisation registered in California for teens and adults who are struggling with their sexual orientation, gender identity, and coming out.

The forum is governed by a set of rules and regulations set out in the Terms of Service and in the Code of Conduct.

You are welcome to stay and if you would like help others or perhaps learn more about some of the struggles that LGBTQ teens and adults face and how they have negotiated through and overcome some of the barriers that they have encountered.

Please make sure to familiarise yourself with the Code of Conduct. Please let us know if you have any questions about the community.
