    At the bottom of EC there's an option to change the style (the quick style chooser)

    wouldn't it be cool if there were more different styles and skins or even changing the colours. or does that just sound stupid :eusa_doh:

    what do you think?

    There were a couple of horrid skins left over from an old April Fools prank that were, unfortunately, incompatible with a recent update we did to the forum software.

    It's quite possible we'll have more options when we transition to the new platform, but we aren't doing anything other than the most basic necessary maintenance on the current forum platform because our energy is going toward shifting to the new one.

    I know its there, but I've never used the style options (default has been fine with me..)


    Sad to hear they might be "downgrading" the site ... 'new' and 'upgrade' are NEVER anything but bad words when talking about websites :lol:

    Eh, this is not specific to websites, but any software in general. However, even if some functionality is temporarily lost, if the new CMS is easier to extend, then you could potentially easily get back that functionality and add cooler and better features faster later on.

    vBulletin does not seem to be that feature rich compared to other forum CMSs, so who knows, the upgrade could very well be for the better.
