Opening EC issue

    Hi, whenever I try to open the EC website my browser (chrome) closes and I get a msg says :frowning2: Get a life stop watching porn) :confused::confused:

    Is my laptop hacked or something ?

    That's almost certainly a virus. It's definitely not something happening on our end.

    I recommend getting an antivirus. Malwarebytes/AVG should get it off, if not you might need to completely reset your computer.
    If that's the case, you should of course backup any important data, not everything, just the important stuff.

    Yes, there's something wrong with your computer. :icon_eek: you really might want to do xfinitycomcast said to remove any malware/viruses.
    Is it possible that someone might have gotten into your computer though? Do you know anyone who would/could do that? & does the message look like an advertisement or a legit message ? Is it only when you visit EC or is it just when you use chrome? Have you used any other internet browser & see if it worked or not.

    I am going to format my laptop, it's probably because of viruses I can't even enter the control panel and some other settings.
