I've been trying to start a thread with a poll in the chit section for the last 16 hours.

    No success.

This is the message I get always when I try to start a thread.

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /web/sites/jmedia/emptyclosets.com/forum/includes/functions_search.php on line 264

I have no problems starting a thread in the feedback section though.

I have no problems responding to post either.

I made a test thread without a poll in it.

I pushed "preview" and it works.

I only get a error message when I'm trying to start a thread with a poll.

    ---------- Post added 19th Sep 2015 at 04:34 PM ----------

I got it to work and my poll went up.

Here is how I got my poll up.

I started a thread and I selected the option of poll with six options. I wrote only the word "test" on the title.

I wrote only the word "test" on the body.

I pushed submit and the title and body with the word "test" got posted in a new thread.

I was then sent to set up my poll.

I went back to my thread with the words "test" on it and edited the body and title.

Then I set up my poll.

For whatever reason, my thread did not get posted and I would get an error message when I had a full title and body.

I made a test thread today.

Everything is working normally again today.

I can start a thread with a full title and a full body.
