I don't know if this was done or suggested before. But I would definitely find a good use for the Like Button on Posts. An Unlike button, no because of the negativity it spreads But there are posts to which we don't know how to respond or have nothing to write in response to. But we'd like to show our acceptance or happiness at that post or our solidarity and encouragement. A like button would come a long way. Especially if a tiny window/box under the post in particular can show the names of the members who liked it. I remember seeing this feature on another forum a couple of years ago. ^ is how it worked. Just a sugg.
Well, it is could be an option. When you get a notification, there's a category "new likes received". But its deactivated, to avoid making things like a popularity contest.
