In the Currently Active Users box at the bottom of the forum front page the staff are now shown in bold text. This should make it easier if you want to contact a member of staff who is online.

    Cool. ^.^
I remember talking about this a while ago and thought you weren't going to do it. What changed?

Iirc, the discussion (was it started by a member named george*insert numbers here*?) was about having staff in a different colour and in bold. That still isn't really necessary, imo.

However, the online list can be pretty busy at times (seems busier lately) and it can be confusing for both staff and members to search for staff members who are online. Whilst they could just check the staff list, we thought it would be good if staff online jumped out at you on the main forum page.

Yes, I do remember that it was suggested a while ago. As Martin says at the time it wasn't felt necessary but now with the site busier it is more difficult to see which staff are online so we felt it was needed.

Also it turned out to be fairly easy to do, which helps! Different colours would be more difficult and we don't think that is needed.
