The chat room's giving me mod powers again.. And they work. o.o
Edit: Banning doesn't work, but the other mod powers do.
I've reloaded the page a couple of times and it still gives me mod powers.. Eep. Why is it doing this? I thought the problem was fixed..

Because someone else might get powers and abuse them, so it's best for the admins to know this has happened.

Anyway it's gone now after a few more reloads.

Just to clarify, banning didn't work, but other mod commands did work?

If peeps do suddenly get this then it's best not to test them. For obvious reasons they're not meant to be something that members get randomly, but if they're working and people are using them then chat will have to get closed until the problem is identified and fixed. It's not something any of the staff will be keen to do, but if we find that people are abusing the bug before we can get it fixed then it's something that will have to be done. If anybody does mention that they have moderator powers then it would be best reminding them to not try and test the commands and to just restart chat a few times until it fixes itself. That way we should avoid any abuse cases, which will avoid chat having to be closed because of the bug.

I'll speak to Paul and see what can be done to try and fix the problem.

I was able to send files to Pauline.

And I only tested it out because there were only two of us in the chat. If there were more people I would have kept quiet and made a thread here only.
