You probably won't notice any difference, but all the smilies are now on the emptyclosets.com server. Previously some were on my emptyclosets.net server, so some of you may have had speed problems with some of them being fetched from a server in a different country.

The next job, once the site owners create a new database for me, is to move the chatroom to emptyclosets.com, then figure out how to link it into the main forum membership system. The chatroom will probably be unavailable for a few hours when I do this, but I will post here in advance.

The layout of the gallery/blogs is temporarily messed up, due to a configuration problem. Seth is on the case.

There may be a few more little problems over the weekend as I start doing some work on the site, while trying to figure out how it is all put together.

There's a lot of bits and pieces on the server, not all of which are used and some of which we aren't sure whether they are used or not. This problem was with one of those - a page layout program we want to use, and is also used in the blog/gallery system.

So if anyone finds something that was working and is now broken while this stuff is going on, please post here so we can try to find out what we broke.

I am currently working on the chatroom. It is being moved to the emptyclosets.com server and linked into the forum membership database. This should only take another hour or so, during which time the chatroom will be unavailable.

Also you should now see an ec icon on browser tabs and by bookmarks/favourites. Dave created the icon.

Maybe you had to clear your cache first?

It does seem to take Firefox a while to catch up with these icon changes. I think it only checks occasionally.

It's been updated again today, and now has stronger coloured letters on a transparent background.

Dave is making excellent progress on the new website front page system. Hopefully there should be something to share in the next couple of weeks.
