Ok, can we please, please, please have this annoying auto-decapitilisation function turned off? Do you know how annoying it is?

Ok, yes some people will use it to RAGE too much, bla bla bla but in all seriousness, is the feature really needed? Most of us here are insane, but EC is hardly ever trolled...

And yes, I know you just need to add a single lower-case letter to make the function go away, but that's just plain annoying. ;_; Look at my failed wall post on Amy's (aka loverwife) wall.

I had a big wallpost fail on Pauline's wall. :frowning2: The main use of all caps here is for humourous effect. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I agree, it is ridiculously annoying.
Especially when you type everything in all caps, and add a '' on the end, it decapitalises the 'd' which just looks weird.

It's annoying, but there are always people who post threads in all caps.

It's more wall posts rather than threads. People who post all caps threads are annoying, but all caps wall posts are fun. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I'm actually not sure if it can be turned off anyway. It seems to be a pretty standard feature across vBulletin Forums (with recent versions) from what I have seen.

It can be. Features like that always have the ability to be turned off.

Yes with a bit of playing with the source scripts.

Ha. I had no idea that was happening. I was wondering who the heck had the time to capitalize each and every word.
You know, I find the oddly placed capital letters more annoying than the occasional CAPS fetishist. I can't imagine how it would harm the forum to at least give a test run. If you find that people are suddenly raging with capital letters, you could enable the feature again.

I need to vent all my anger about VCE English. I can't do that without all caps! And using one lower case letter would severely compromise my integrity! See where I'm coming from? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I agree. I hate the auto decapitalization. I use caps for humor effects occasionally and it ends up making me upset and embarrassed when it comes out wrong because my net speak was in lower case. :/

I swear I read the thread title as auto-decapitation each time. I should try not to skip so many letters. xD

And how appropriate for my 666th post to mention decapitation. xD
