Hello Everyone,

We apologize for the downtime last evening. We had some server issues, but we moved the site to a brand new server now and everything should be back to normal.

We caught the problem quickly and made the move. We thought everything was OK but it turned out we didn't have the most up-to-date copy of the database. I was able to get a copy of the database that has everything in it up until right before we had the problems last night.

Funnily enough, anything posted after the problem (such as all the threads about there being problems) weren't able to be rescued.

Hopefully things are much better other than that now.

Update: Seth has now also fixed the other site issues that were reported to us earlier today. That is the error coding that appeared when accessing the chat room, and the lack of pictures when viewing an album.

If anybody spots any other issues then please report it to us. I think everything has been fixed now though.

Thanks for working so hard to keep EC running. Just thought I would. I am used to sites going down from time to time, so I know to just let it run its course since they always come up when the issues are solved.
