Hey peeps,

It's nearly 3 months since Chat had its last inspection so I will be doing it within the next week. It is likely to take place on Sunday or next Thursday, but may take place on another day if I get chance. I am leaning towards next thursday as that will be nearer to the 3-month date since the last inspection (12 November). As always, Chat will be closed for a few hours so that the commands and mod tools can be tested and reported back to the staff.

Anyways, consider this your advanced notice!

The Chat Room is now closed.

This inspection is the one when I check both User and Mod commands (I test the mod commands every 3 months, but only the user commands every 6), therefore chat would usually be down longer than usual. However, I have university work to also get complete today so I will only be testing the Mod commands for now. Chat will be closed again on Thursday so that the user commands can be tested and compared to the previous inspection, and possibly fixed.

The inspection is likely to be included in the Chat Room's report, which is going to be based on the surveys that were completed by EC's Full Members. More details of this will be made available once we hear back from EC's owners and legal counsel.

Chat is now open again.

It will be closed again on Thursday evening (UK time) for one final inspection. I shall give more info on that later this week.

Hey,

Never did get round to testing the user commands so will be doing this tomorrow (or today for Aussie/UK peeps). I need to get this done ASAP so I can start writing the Chat Room report regarding the functionality of Chat and the surveys that members sent back in January.

I can't be sure how long Chat will be closed tomorrow as there's alot more commands to check, but I won't have many (if any) distractions tomorrow so I should work at a quick pace.
