just wondering why my pig is not running!?

    my avatar is a gif animation that normally runs and its so cute :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    ive seen other people on here with animated avatars, and the exact same image *is* animated on another site i am on. why not here? haha

    Hey,

    It seems that some animations often mess up when they are uploaded by members. I have no idea why, but I woud say it happens to about 50% of those who have tried.

    If you upload the animation onto EC as an attachment then I'll get it working for you. :slight_smile:

    Hey,

    Unfortunately the image is too big to use as an avatar. The reason it keeps sticking as a still image is because it keeps resizing the first frame of the animation and using that as the avatar. The image needs to be a maximum of 100 pixels x 100 pixels (currently it's 105 x 125), so you may want to see if another member is able to resize it for you. Once it's resized then I should be able to upload it without having it freeze on the first frame. :slight_smile:

    off topic, but I just saw the link to the image editor, which I find interesting b/c I have been using that same one for about a month to rotate animated pictures for my phone.
