JayHew has agreed to become a moderator here. Due to the timezones he is often around and online during the busier times so can take care of any problems straight away rather than waiting for Dave, TriBi, Becky or me to come online. No, he was an "EC Expert" which meant he was a recognised poster of (in his case medical/health) information. He'll still be doing more in the health expert role than the moderating I think. The main advantage of him being on the mod team is having a mod that is around during the busy periods, so if we get any problems (such as spammers or haters) they can be dealt with quicker.
