Posts marked as read when they are not - Empty Closets - A safe online community for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered people coming out

So, as it says the title, sometimes, when I log into the forum I see some posts that I haven't read yet but are marked as read

I have not clicked the "Mark all as read" button so I don't know why is this issue happening. Maybe is something related with the fact I delete caches and cookies every time I leave the forum?

well if you log out, that can mess it up in way. deleting cookies and caches will do this too. sorry for not explaining better, but I'm not sure of how to do so.

Okay, I think I've found the problem. The posts are marked after I log into the site with my iPod. I do not read the posts on it but it might be something related with the cache/cookies of the device. I'll stop connecting to EC with it, hope this will fix the problem
