Why can't we edit posts 15 minutes after posted?

I believe it is to avoid confusion. If a post is edited after too long of a time period, then subsequent posts may not make much sense. Of course, people usually just want to add things in, but there's nothing wrong with just making a new post.

If you absolutely need to have a post edited after 15 minutes, you could always get a mod's attention and we'll sort it out.
