I recently put up a new Avy that is a GIF. However it doesn't do the animation it's just a still right now. I was wondering if I could get some help.

    Heres the GIF.

    Hey,

The avatar restrictions for Full Members are 100x120 pixels, and a maximum file size of 64kb. Members tend to find that animations don't aways work when they are above the pixel limit and/or size limit. The site seems to have problems resizing animations and instead just resizes the first frame and uploads it, which makes it look like the avatar is frozen.

The best thing to do would be to resize the image below the pixel limit, check that it's below the size limit and then try and upload it again. If it still doesn't work then upload it on the site and an admin should be able to upload it for you.

    Martin.

No, it was a "The image is too big, simply resize it and it should work." o_o

If they let people have too big of avatars, the servers would become unstable.

It's cause I didn't make the GIF and when I tried to resize it it just turned into a normal still image. I'll wait a couple of days for the person who made it for me to resize it.

The other one was too big file size wise.
