I was just curious, is there any possibility in adding actual spoiler tags?

Using white text is a bit annoying, because a lot of people can see that anyways. :/

I stopped reading the BB12 thread cause of all the spoilers I could read perfectlyyy.

If there's enough demand for it then I can't see why not. I've certainly seen it put to good use on numerous forums.

It would also be helpful if somebody could post a link to this hack that's compatible for vbulletin 3.7.

Whenever somebody posts content that could potentially spoil something for another member, they can type it into a spoiler which hides it.

Here's a screenshot of how it works on another site:

^ This is how it is displayed on a normal forum page before you click the button to reveal the spoilers contents.

^ This is what it looks like if you click the 'Show' button to show the contents inside the spoiler box.

It just gives members the option to choose whether they want to read any info that other members deem spoiler-worthy.

White text can be easily read, by me at least... And usually since I read so quickly I don't notice its a spoiler until after I read it. :P Spoiler tags would be extremely useful to me haha.

as a temporary measure, instead of using white text, you can also use the hex value of the background colour, which is f5f5ff. So instead of the tag [color=white], use [color=#f5f5ff]

for example, spoilers no spoilers

Personally I'd like to see this implemented, it'd also be useful in threads with a lot of large pictures (such as the funny pics thread in fun and games) where it'd make navigation of the thread 100x simpler
