We regret to inform you that Mirko has announced his intentions to resign as an Administrator on EmptyClosets due to offline commitments.

We would like to thank him for all the hardwork and dedication that he has put into EC over the years, and we wish him the best of luck with his job!

I know he's really excited and passionate about his new job, which involves providing support and helping others (though in a different setting than EC) and I hope everyone willl join in wishing him well!

Thank you everyone!

As Chip already pointed out, I am passionate about my work and I love what I do. But my work is such that it requires me to have enough breaks and relaxation time and when I realized that I didn't get as much as I need, unfortunately, something had to give.

It was a privilege being part of a dedicated and hard working staff team. Every staff member has contributed, and continues to contribute a lot of time, and energy to this site and helps to ensure that it remains the best and safest LGBT online support forum out there.

I'll be around on EC when I can.

EC is important to me and it has helped me a lot over the last couple of years. I am glad to have gotten to know some of my current friends through EC, and who are amazing and really fantastic people. They have helped me with some of my own issues I was dealing with over the last couple of years. I still hope to be able to get to know others better as well. So not coming on EC, is kinda out of the question.
