Hey peeps, The staff are currently in the process of looking at future upgrades and re-designs for EC, and we are hoping to use this as an opportunity to hear your input on what you want. We have a few ideas floating around, but we're eager to hear what you think the site should explore and what direction we should head in as we continue to grow. The staff have been giving their own ideas behind the scenes (which they are free to repeat here), but at this stage I am interested in hearing what you think. The next stage of this 'research' will be bringing the ideas from both usergroups together in a questionnaire and having you all fill it out. The results of this will influence decisions on EC's future and what sort of features and services that will be invested in. So yeah, what type of features, services, functions etc would you like to see on this site? Any new forums? Could the forum structure be changed? Is there anything that could be done to make you feel safer? Please feel free to suggest anything! We also welcome comments on other ideas (either for or against), but do remember to keep it friendly. Martin.

Blog comment notifications? The only way to be notified if you have a new comment on your blog currently is if you actively search for it. Or subscribing to every blog you post.

Can we use GIFs in our posts. Because that would be super cool. 2. And have a like/love button that we can show appreciation for a particular person's post within a thread. 3. Backlinks via NOTIFICATIONS or something of the sort so we don't have to go scrambling through the world to reply to posts of threads we recently just posted in. Especially if when you just posed a thread. And a day later you want to see the responses, and you click "New Posts", your seeing posts dated way back to when Abraham Lincoln was shot! And my post that was just posted last night is on the page 4! Usually, I would be crazy over page 4, (especially since, I am now working as a columnist for the local newspaper and I was given page 4 of the Sunday paper- a huge triumph for a young writer) but in this case, I am not crazy about it. I am just crazy. And if I could use a GIF right now, I would post one of a stick man using a sumari sword slicing his laptop in half and the laptop bleeding. -__-"" So yea. would love a notification breadcrumb/tab so I can easy go back to threads I recently posted in.

When you hover over the members list in the room and you highlight someone's name, their avatar pops up under your cursor. Also, I've noticed that sometimes when I go to the homepage to see if anyone is in the chat, it will say 1 person is there when there actually isn't anyone. It basically just keeps the last person to leave in there for a bit. It's not that big of a deal, but those are the only things I can think of right now.
