I looked through the staff list on the individual support thread in support and advice and I realised you don't have anybody listed there for help with cross dressing. Is there a specific staff member that can help which doesn't have cross dressing listed as a topic they can help with?

Hi,

Unfortunately we have no Advisors who offer support with crossdressing and/or trans-related matters, but our Social Worker, blairSW, has been dealing with support on these types of issues recently, so he may be a good starting point if there is anything in particular you need support or advice with.

We did used to have Advisors in the past who helped members with these types of queries etc, but they're no longer a part of the team due to offline commitments. However, it is something we do want to offer peer support on as soon as possible, so watch this space and hopefully we'll soon have additional resources and peeps on hand to help.

I would be happy to help, if anybody asks the staff about cross dressing tell them to come to me. Hopefully if I become a full member I could help them out.

i also have a question and comment too what about support for disabled lgtb
and straight people on EC ?? as tabove poster said im willing to be the supporter they need when im full too if posible

There are a couple of straight staff members at the moment (Rosina Chicita and Eleanor Rigby), as well as at least one disabled staff member (myself).

I too think Kiersten would do an excellent job =P Of course I think the whole trans/gender curious community on this site is great.

edit: I too have noticed the peculiar absence of a trans Advisers. I think it would be a great benefit to the site.

Guys, we don't appoint Advisors based on nominations xD We've had a few trans Advisors in the past, but unfortunately, they've generally ended up not having the time to give to the role. We're aware that there's a deficit in this area, but we don't want to jump into appointing someone an Advisor just to fill a gap.

Seriously, folks. We appreciate your feelings about Kiersten, but as Maddy said, the staff does not take nominations from members for staff positions. So really, there's no point in continuing this thread.
