When I was trying to upload a new profile picture it gave me some warning that I was doing suspicious behavior?
I got that when I was trying to change my avatar the other day. I did the captcha and it then worked OK.
Sorry about that, folks. That's an enhanced security feature from the new content delivery network we're using. It identifies IP addresses that have previously been associated with shady activity. The problem is... with shared IP addresses, it tends to have a lot of false positives. So nobody did anything wrong, but our security tool mistakenly thought someone might be.
I have a fixed IP address and have had the same one for at least three years, so I think there may be something not quite right with it if it has flagged it as shady...
Oh, there's definitely something not quite right about Cloudflare. It's a cool service, but it seems like it isn't quite ready for prime time Seth took us off of Cloudflare today and we're back to the same server technology we had before, so these problems should now be gone. Please let us know in this thread if anyone notices anything else unusual.
