How would we go about getting more moods? Just suggesting them here or something? Because there's been a few times that I've come on thinking of something very fitting, but didn't exist
There was actually a thread addressing this very issue quite some time ago. It hasn't seen much action for a while, and I doubt anyone even remembers it... But I agree, it would be groovy if we could get some newer ones. Although I understand the EC Crew is hard at work preparing our upgrades that are coming soon.
I've been asking myself the same thing! I have some suggestions already, like "nervous" and "frustrated", I'm thinking those are quite common moods.
Meh and content would be great moods to add. The ones I was thinking: 'relfective'/'nostalgic' or 'retrospective' something along that line. 'Philosophical' was another one and maybe '???' for those like myself who sometimes can't identify their own emotions.
We need an excited mood. it's a common mood but just not there. And i'm always excited about something.
From what I can understand, implementing new moods is rather easy. The hard part is creating one. Sooooo, if you really want a new mood on EC you have to get a friend to make one for you or make one yourself
My attemps at a "magical" mood; I don't know how to get rid of the white space around it. I wish I had the tools to make it a gif with changing letter colors!
^ if you made it with a graphics program (Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET, etc.), or really any program that allowed you to set it on a "transparent" background, just save the file as a ".png". That filetype keeps transparent pixels. Also, what are the restrictions on the moods? Dimensions/file size? 'Cause I'd defs be up for making some of these...
The greatest height on the list of moods is 18 pixels, and the greatest width appears to be 94. A good many of them are 72 x 15. Accomplished, Artistic, Cranky, Creative, Determined, Distressed, Ecstatic, Embarrassed, Excited, Hopeful, Lazy, Mischievous, Optimistic (there's a Pessimistic, so why not the opposite?), Restless, and Silly would be nice ones to add.
I made a good chunk of them (through the first thread in regards to someone asking about new emotions, which isn't even the one linked earlier in this thread, xD), but I stopped when people got annoyed by some of the ones I made cause they were too "member-specific" or something like that. Meh. xD
