What's a referral?

    I noticed that there is a spot under "statistics" that shows how many referrals somebody has, and that made me wonder what a referral on EC is.

    I think its when someone "refers" someone to EC, and of that person signs up, enters the referrers username in.. I think. And that probably isn't very clear either >.< pretty sure it's just when an existing member points a non-member to EC. I have many more referrals than it shows on my account, though xD

    Yeah, when people sign up, they're asked if a member has told them about EC and if so, to put their name in the box. It's just a badge of awesomeness, really.
