I want to delete all my old blog entries

    I would like to delete all my blog entries because I don't want them there anymore because they're old. Is it possible if someone could delete them , or maybe show me how to delete them?

    Hey,

    If you let me know which you need deleting then we'll be able to get that sorted for ye. You don't need to list each blog entry individually, but if you let us know the cut-off date for keeping blog entries (or perhaps the title of the last blog entry you want to keep) then we can delete any blog entries before that date/entry. :slight_smile:

    Thankyou so much, but I don't think I want to keep any of those blog entries :/, I kinda wanted all of them deleted :s I hope that's okay

    Ah, my bad. I thought I read that your recent blog entry was posted in October 2012, and stupidly my mind didn't click that that date hadn't even occured yet. >.<

    Did you guys remove the ability for us to delete our own blogs, or am I missing something? :confused:

    If so, can you delete my blogs, so I don't have to worry about them later? XD

    Yup, we removed it; nixed the ability to edit blog posts, too. It was too easy for someone to use those tools to get around the personal information ban and not get caught.

    Ah. I see.

    You guys might want to post a warning on the blog page then (either your blogs main page, or when you're writing one) that you can't manually delete it then. XD Just because my blogs were all written to vent, and I deleted them all shortly after. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Oh hell no. xD Not private enough. xD Granted, the internet isn't exactly private, but in a way, I just want to vent to someone, even if it's to the internet when they can't see it. xD

    It'd be nice if you could remove both of mine as well, thanks. I thought I'd deleted them ages ago.

    Edit: Actually, I can't figure out if I have or not. It says it's been deleted, and doesn't show up by my posts, but I can see them by clicking. Is it just me/mods who can do that, or can anyone?

    Just so you all know, there are settings that allow you to change whom your blog is visible to. You can change your blog to only be visible to your contacts (i.e. friends), or even only visible to you and the mods, if you're worried about people seeing what you've written. You can access these settings by going to your blog and clicking "Blog Control Panel" on the left. Clicking this link should also work:
    http://emptyclosets.com/forum/blog_usercp.php?do=editoptions

    They gone! We can restore them if you ever change your mind.

    Aye, it's only you and us staff who can see them.

    Seeing as it's no longer an option to delete blogs, perhaps there we can have a thread requesting the deletion of blogs in this section perhaps? If there isn't one already.

    If you want to have a blog entry deleted, you can use the report function in order to bring it to our attention.
