    I know how to get a picture to a thread from the Internet, but how can I put up a saved picture?

    If you hit the "go advanced" button beside the "post quick reply" button there will be a ton of options. The second box that has options in it says "attach files". Then you just have to make sure that they are not over the size requirement.
