Is there any way that you can contact other people from another site? Like is there a way you can get someones e-mail or contact info without being banned?

How come private messaging is blocked until a full member or talking with staff, anyway? I also love that pic. I saw a Facebook page that has that as their image.
It's to protect the younger members, is it not? In theory, a predator would go for something more instant. Also, as members are 'reviewed' before they become full members, it allows a screening process to filter any unwanted predators and all that.
These forums are great, I love them! This is a good cyber connection to other people in similar situations. I understand the 2 week thing..like a sexual predator isn't gonna be an active member and such and spend that much time and effort.
