Can there be a thank you button for a post you like which gives good advice or make`s you laugh please.
Likely not, as a like/thanks button encourages people to post things just for the sake of gathering as many likes/thanks as possible. Not everyone would do that, of course, but if EC is supposed to be a support environment first, turning it into a mini popularity contest isn't exactly beneficial to the community.
You can always give the person in question a short message on their wall or something if they post something that you really liked... you just might make a friend out of it, too.
