More sections?

Definitely agreed about the creative section!

 

We fairly regularly get people saying "why isn't there a xxxxxx Forum". The reason basically is that this is still a relatively small forum - and to split it up too much would just tend to create areas that become 'dead corners' because they get very little posting.

There have been quite a few ideas suggested in the past - some of which have been adopted (the Anonymous Forum, f'rinstance) but most of the specialised subjects really don't have wide enough popularity on their own - and it would be better if people just start their own threads on them, in Chit Chat or wherever is most appropriate.

FYI - there is a thread canvassing suggestions on what people would like to see on EC - it has sunk down the pages a bit because it hasn't had a post in a few weeks - but please take a look (and add ideas if you like).

We add new sections when there is a clear need for them to avoid empty forums, which are ultimately unnattractive..
