What would you love to see in a gay superhero film?

I guess my main thing was that I'd want to have a spectrum of characters. Some can be more stereotypically gay, others can be the complete opposite, just to drill it in to everybody's heads that we don't all act the same.

I guess the main obstacle of the romantic subplot would be one character feeling unable to express his love due to being closeted, but then in a heartwarming finale he finds the courage to break the shackles of society and admit his love to the world!

I'd definitely also want to have more of the letters from our LGBTQQIAAP society included rather than just homosexuals, we don't need quite as much exposure after all!

I honestly haven't thought about this as much as it sounds like. I'm just a hopeless romantic at the best of times.

 

I would like to see Ian McKellen in there somewhere.

 

I mean, he's in the Hobbit ya know ...


Which superhero/villian would suit him best (at his age)?

Honestly, I'd like it to be kind of like Man of Steel with a male Lois. There shouldn't be too many gay guys in the movie- just the hero and his boyfriend. Both should be REALLY masculine- that's how they meet, while bike racing or competing against each other on a football field. Their relationship should be like that of Dean and Sam in Supernatural, only less brotherly :icon_wink:icon_bigg

also, I don't watch superhero movie.

but maybe superhero and his bf had a plan on how to take down the villain, only for the villain to outsmart the superhero and captured said bf as hostage first.

then they morse code their way out or something
