Favourite Anime?

    All in the title really. What is your favourite Anime (or by extension manga).
    I have a few, such as Hellsing, Fate Zero, Gungrave, Death note, and I'm also fu***ng loving Attack on Titan at the moment.
    While I do quite like Naruto and one piece, the fact that there seems to be an endless amount of episodes is off putting for me.
    However my favourite (for the moment anyway, it seemingly changes) is Cowboy Bebop. Something about it I love so much, the characters, the amazing Jazz soundtrack, the concept of it all.

    Anyway yeah... what are yours? :slight_smile:

    My favourite anime is Naruto (I'm up to date on the Manga's and Episodes) - I've been watching it since about 5 years ago.

    Other animes which I watch which I haven't got to finish : Deathnote and just the first episode of Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on the Titan)....

    I wish I was Japanese :frowning2:

    I got hooked on Rosario + Vampire. It's about a normal guy that ends up at a school for monsters. While there he fails in love with a vampire that has two personalities.

    I absolutely love Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It's just so beautiful and emotional yet at the same time intellectually satisfying. I could go on about it for ages. XD

    Without a doubt Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Is best show. Also, like others, Attack on Titan is amazing so far.

    Right now, One Piece, hands down. Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood) were also pretty awesome, but I haven't read/watched them in a while.

    I used to read/watch Bleach and Naruto, but I felt like they were both getting ridiculous, so I stopped a while ago. I also used to read Claymore and Psyren, but I stopped because...I don't know, I just did. I started reading Fairy Tail a while back but I never got caught up with it, though I'll probably go back to it at some point.

    Second, is Angel Beats, them feels are ridiculous.
    Adn after that xxxHolic. It's very good too.

    Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Alchemist the Brotherhood one of the best animes. Death Note is good, so is Bleach and Naruto if the anime did not have so many fillers.

    Darker Than Black, probably because it's the first one I ever really watched.

    Puella Magi Madoka Magica was great, Angel Beats! is good so far (though I'm not very far into it).

    I love Fullmetal. In manga, however, and this does exist, I love the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix books 1 and 2. They also have it for Kingdom Hearts 2, but I haven't been able to find any...

    I used to really like the really big ones like Naruto, Fairy Tail, etc... but those have somewhat died out for me. I've always really liked Princess Mononoke and the Grave of the Fireflies, it's really timeless.

    Higurashi is my favorite series anime due to the colorful animation, extremely engaging story, and lovable characters.

    My Neighbor Totoro is my favorite movie period, let alone anime.

    How good is it? I really want to watch it, is it similar in style to Princess Mononoke and Grave of the Fireflies? I really like those old/classic looking animes.

    It's a little different from those two. At first glance, it would almost seem to be a kid's movie. The story is about two little girls who move to a rural town in order to be closer to their mother who is being treated at a local hospital. When they get there, they learn that the forest is filled with magical creatures. One in particular is named Totoro, and he is the king of the forest.

    There isn't really a central antagonist. Rather, the story deals with the two girls as they deal with their mother's sickness, while maintaining their own childish wonder. The characters are very relatable, and the artwork is stunning. It contains the same design as Princess Mononoke.

    By far my favourite is YURU YURI It's about a group of young lesbian's who form something called "The amusement club" And it is absolutely hilarious! Funniest anime I have ever seen!

    Sounds like something I'll enjoy. I've always wondered if I should watch it, cuz Totoro is cute c:

    I'll definitely watch it. Is it dubbed in English?
