Hey, so I've heard that Prayers for Bobby is a great movie, but I've also heard that it's one of those movies that makes lots of people cry, so I'm assuming it's sad?
I want to watch a gay themed movie, but I'm already in someone of a lonely mood, so I'd rather have a pick me up movie. Is Prayers for Bobby going to leave me feeling sad and emotional? Also, what kind of mood would you suggest being in when you watch it?

    Thanks

Don't be happy, 'cause that'd be a bad case of mood whiplash.

It'll probably leave you sad, emotional, contemplative, or any combination of the three.

You could probably be in any mood you want, but, again, be wary of mood whiplash.

Ok haha, thanks. Maybe I'll put it off for the future when I have someone to watch it with.

If you are really brave and emotionally strong, then go ahead and watch it with someone.

Personally for me I watch it alone because I do shed a tear or two, and it's embarrassing for me to cry in front of someone else.

I finally read what it is about after several of you mentioned it. Since Sigourney Weaver tends to be good, I'll bet she handled that role well. I don't know if I want to see it ... yet.
