Just Another Manic Monday by The Bangles :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Almost any song could be a good wake-up song for me, depends what mood I'm in and what kind of a day I have planned. Sometimes I like to set the alarm on iHeart Radio on my phone. Some of my favorite "stations" are Metric, The Ting Tings, Lily Allen, and La Roux

Nik Grimshaw on Radio 1 - my Alarm clock is out of arms reach and as he annoys the hell out of me I get out of bed PDQ to change the station to Smooth Radio. Waking up to the same song every morning is really annoying I find (my previous alarm clock had a cd player and always played from track 1 - meh)

I seem to be the last person of my generation still using an alarm clock which isn't there mobile  It is a DAB Digital one though, so not THAT old school.

Something to wake up immediate and feel good: It's a Beautiful Day - Michael Buble

Something to wake up slowly to: Beyond the Sea (forgot who)

If you're just want to piss off the neighbours: Circle of Life - Lion King Version, MAX VOLUME

Bobby Darin (well technically Charles Trenet as the French language La Mer)

    Lovely Songs though

    YES, THAT'S HIM.

His voice is very soothing, it's similar in style to Sinatra's.

It's a really good song for waking up with a partner or a lover beside you I guess... I just feel like it will be.

I post this purely because it's stuck in my head, but it actually works: Good Morning Baltimore from Hairspray.

Opening lyrics are: "Oh oh oh, woke up today, feeling the way I always do!"

I see what you did there. And it makes me giggle.

One of my favorites is "I've Seen All Good People/Your Move" (The live version) - Yes. I dunno why, it makes me happy.

But often I just plop in whatever rock/metal CD and jam to that, during the school year it's usually System of a Down and 5FDP, but I'm pretty sure now that the family car has an iPod hook-up I'll be listening to everything on my iPod.

It is loud and techno, and I get up quickly to turn it off.

I listen to music all night anyways.

Obsessions - Marina and the Diamonds

The first line of the song is:

    "Sunday, wake up.
Give me a cigarette, Last night's
Love affair is looking vulnerable in my bed."
