Card Captors

    So, I was searching around on my youtube favorites, and came across the Card Captors english dub opening (which, btw, was better then the original in every sense IMO), the best english dub song ever.

    Anyways, did anyone ever watch this show? I used to love it, but in the US, they only showed the first season, but in other countries, they aired all of the 70 episodes in english, with complete and exact translations, instead of editing. The best part about this was the fact that the main guy character had crushes on a few guys, as well as Sakura's, the main character, brother had a friend she had a crush on, but he admitted being in love with her brother, and his brother felt the same.

    And for those who don't know: It's about a girl who opens a book and unleashes the clow cards upon the world by accidently activating "The Windy" which blows away all of the cards. She also awakens the guardian of the cards, who begins to train her to get them all back. It's a lot more complex, but just tryin to sum it up XD

    So... did anyone else ever watch this? :astonished:

    OMG!!!! I LOVED Card Captors!!!! I saw every episode when I was little, and I watched it all the time! And I have a set of Clow cards and everything!!!! And my fav card is the Windy!!!!!! And I love the opening! (American and Japanese)
    And I had a huuuuge crush on Sakura's brother! And the Yaoi sub-plot was soooo cute that I watched it 4 times!!!!!!

    Card Captors filled that empty void in my life when I realised that I was getting too old for Pokemon.


    Then after Card Captors came Inu Yasha..and thanks to that show I can't stand anime no longer :slight_smile: with a mix of boycott as well. Now I watch IFC and Southpark...Along with other shows.

    I love this show, it's my favourite anime of all time!
    Cardcaptor Sakura is just amazing. My favourite card has to be "The Fly" card in series 2 where it gives her wings.

    I thought I remembered them showing the second season. . . but yeah, I love most anything by CLAMP. Oh, and Touya and Yukito are like the best couple ever.

    Currently in midst of downloading all the episodes in english :S (Well, except episode 16, for some reason it's missing out of the torrent, but eh =P) 80% done.

    I've listened to the opening like 50 times today >_<

    ....Alot of Card Captors fan...I never realised it was soo big.

    I seriously though I was the only loser kid who watched this show.

    Heck ya =P Though, I'm mad they don't air it on TV anymore, same with Sailor Moon -.- At least Card Captors was entirely dubbed, they never dubbed the final season of sailor moon because her final form was naked, and there were 3 males who transformed into females during their transformation to scouts :3 But the final season cleared up so much, whereas the english dub left us with a cliffhanger -.-

    They made me hate Naruto!!!!
    They also cut all of the cute little Yaoi scenes from Card Captors! T-T

    Yea, but another company dubbed all of it, instead of 4-Kids just dubbing the first season, and they dubbed it complete with no editing :astonished:
