Car chases are awesome, 'cuz violence. Also, when there's a car chase, you know shit's gonna happen in a movie. Mine is the one from Bullitt. It's been a long time since I've watched the whole movie, but near as I can tell, it's basically about a cop who flips out after these gangsters kill the federal witness he's been charged to protect: What's your favorite?
The orignal 1974 Gone in 60 Seconds. Has a 40 minute car chase scene, plus a couple of others. Just enough plot to tie the chase scenes together.
Does a Soviet T68 count as a car? Hey its sums up my current attitude to Russia
The racing scenes in the first Fast and the Furious are what got me interested in cool cars, so that has to count for something hehe.
Many years ago, I saw in interview with the cameraman who was in the car with McQueen, he said it was all he could do to hold on for dear life! By the way, I always thought the driver in the bad-guy car could have passed for an insurance salesman.
I love all the Fast & Furious movies, but I also think the car chase scene from the newest Die Hard movie (I think it was A Good Day to Die Hard???) was good too. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing about the movie!
Most James Bond movies have great car chases. They sort of begin to run together, though ... no pun intended.
The car chase from Ronin. Also an excellent movie. If you haven't seen it, you should watch it.
Awww, I love a car chase. Anything action-y like Die Hard, 007, or even games like Uncharted and Call of Duty
