Hey, big whovian here just wondering for any other whovians on here who your favorite incarnation of the Doctor is? Mine is the Second Doctor (Patrick Troughton), he had some of the best stories in my opinion and had great chemistry with his companions (especially with Jamie if u get me  ) I loved his clownish way of acting and how he used being so adorable to trick his enemies into thinking he wasn't a threat. It makes me really sad though that most of his episodes are missing :icon_sad: but you can still tell from the reconstructions that they must have been fantastic! Please reply and let me know your favorite!

    Doctor Who fan I see.

I'd like to think that Tom Baker, the fourth doctor was another good one, he was just so iconic with his striped scarf, so much that every time I hear Doctor Who I think Tom Baker.

I have to totally agree! Though his era was somewhat inconsistent (in terms of good serials, which is understandable as it went through so many changes and lasted so long), he was a fantastic actor and one of the most memorable. I mean people who haven't even seen the classics usually see him and think "That's the Doctor!" And of course his scarf was fantastic (I got my mom to make me one a while back I can practically use it as a blanket lol)

I agree with the Tom Baker posts, even though I never watched the old series. He just personifies The Doctor. I also really like Christopher Eccleston, mostly because he introduced me to Doctor Who.

Well I think David Tennant was a great doctor. He got me into Dr Who. Then I watched the old series and John Pertwee (i think) anf Tom Baker were great too

David Tennant, purely because he's the most handsome. Never watched the show XD.

    Peter Capaldi.

    ..

Yeah, Tennant. Eccleston was my First doctor, but Tennant will still shine unless Capaldi does more than Tennant.

I see no one has mentioned Sylvester McCoy. Ultimately, he's my favourite. Why? He was actually bringing up the viewing numbers of Doctor Who massively before it got cancelled. He's very alike to the newer doctors, and definitely has a sense of David Tennant/Matt Smith in him. Also, his companionship with Ace was adorable.

See, I never understood why everyone thinks Tom Baker was really amazing. I think he's good, but he's actually pretty low my list on which Doctors I prefer...

It's so good to meet someone else who loves Sylv! He's another one of my favorites but not many people seem to like him, it's pretty sad since he was so amazing! I think the chemistry between him and Ace was one of the best of Doctor Who overall. It was amazing how he could go from adorable to creepy and manipulative in only a few minutes. Just fantastic.

The second Doctor is a hipster.

My favorite is probably Tennant. Granted, I haven't watched all that much of the old show but Tennant is a great actor.

Pertwee, definitely! But I would be willing to learn how to knit to have Tom Baker's scarf. But in my opinion, David Tennant was the most, uh, do-able....
