Okay, so its been rumored that Adele is having an upcoming album. Its rumored to be called 24 or 25 and its also rumored to be out by the end of 2013 or 2014. Mainly because "loving boyfriend" and "new baby" don't make as compelling material "my bisexual boyfriend left me for a dude". Anyways, hope it turns out OK. She's talented, and it's not like we have an overabundance of amazing music out there.
I hope that the album is good. Although the best music does tend to be about heartbreak not joyous relationships. We shall see.
My biggest fear is the album will be overproduced, such that it obscures the true talent she has. I've heard with just guitar, and it was amazing. I truly hope they don't make this too poppy/produced, so that it loses its more direct emotional grip. I like her, though I worry about what the big-shots at the studios have in mind for her. Wish she was on her own label, or an indie label.
