Mine is Nancy Boy by Placebo, the emotions and lyrics in it, are similar to what I experienced when I started experimenting and trying to feel comfortable with who I am. The video is weird though
Well if you ae talking about a song that has helped me because I am transgender, then I would say pretty much any song from Mulan and Mulan II. But if you are talking about songs that are about that, then Take Me Or Leave Me from Rent
This is the only one I know of, but I know the person who wrote it! Photo History of the Gay Rights Movement: "I Think He'd Understand" - YouTube
"What if I told you" by Jason Walker....not exactly LBGT but anyone that was in the closet can relate to it.
Same love by macklemore and Ryan Lewis. It's not really am lgbt song but it helped me a lot when I first started thinking that I was gay.
Either 'Lola' by The Kinks or 'Michael' by Franz Ferdinand, probably the former. ---------- Post added 20th Aug 2013 at 12:21 AM ---------- Or possibly 'Homo sapien' by Pete Shelley.
Make It Stop (September's Children) by Rise Against. It's a really feely song for me, even though I never went through a big "struggle" with other people in regards to my orientation (at least not yet). It brings me to tears every time I hear it. I also love how the song ends on a positive note, it's really uplifting.
Glasvegas - Stronger Than Dirt (Homosexuality part 2) "no less if we are not his and hers, our love is as valid as your love is"
Brave - Sara Bareilles I adore this song. She wrote it about a gay friend of hers that was coming out of the closet, apparently.
